The idea was to give an impression of the variety of colors and sizes of (Central European) earthworms. In theory I knew for a long time that you could best distinguish our central European earthworms by color, but never quiet got my head around it. Then, digging into it, I was truely amazed by the range of colors and subtle differences in shape and general appearance.
