About me

My name is Svenja Meyer, I am a biologist from Göttingen, Germany. Since I started to sharpen my eyes for the living world around me, I am stunned by its aestethics. I was somehow always drawn to the smaller range of the critter size spectrum, preferably without a backbone and ended up doing a PhD in soil ecology (studying not small, but tiny and tiniest creatures). Science is a busy, but super inspiring business and I more and more felt the urge to digest artistically the wonders I was confronted with every day.
