Linocut print 'Coelioxys'

The idea for this linocut series is to show that there is more to the bees than the ever-popular honeybee. Exciting, beautiful species, that look distinctively different, even in black and white.

This is a handmade print from a carved linoleum plate. I printed on ivory Fabriano Tiepolo paper (130 g/qm) with oil-based Caligo ink. The sheet measures 25x17.5 cm (appr. 10x7 inch). This edition counts 27 prints. The edition number, title and signature are written at the base of the print.

Since each print is printed individually by hand, they may vary slightly.
